An overdue thanks for our time on the river, something we did enjoy very much, we think you as hosts are the right people to host visitors on such a special experience - quiet, relaxed, confident.The flying fox works very well with the jet boat trip and is full of interest - all easily accessible from Wanganui and not taking all day. Your package and timing is perfect. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable time and we will be certainly recommending you. We will definitely be back. As December is almost here enjoy the festive season and a busy and prosperous 2010.

Thanks for a great river adventure last Monday to the Bridge to Nowhere and beyond
I enjoy writing a bit of poetry occasionally so here are a couple of brief lines for you both, in memory of our great trip.
Brent –
You embody the spirit of the river.
Deep and calm, quiet and reflective
In the steep, deep canyon.
Then chortling as you burst out
Free to follow and tumble down the rapid
And entertain with cheerful abandon
With an H!
Claire –
Your apricot loaf was simply yum
Filled a big hole in my tum.
And the chocolate cake too
Was a great advert for you.
You’d notice we didn’t leave a crumb!
You must be a cook supreme
Your cooking is just a dream,
So thanks a lot
We loved what we got
The whole trip was crème be la crème.

To met you was the best we had in NZ. You, your family und John were so kindly. The place where the flying fox is is the nicest place I know. I dream from it with open eyes. I hope you are fine and if you need sometimes a place in Germany to come, stay in our home. Or your kids.

Just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic trip on Saturday. Geoff's parents thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
They are looking forward to the "Havoc at The Fox" trip next time they come over from the U.K. Hope the muffins at The Fox are as good as Claire's baking! (we loved the apricot loaf).
I will certainly spread the word that the Spirit of the River tour is the one to do!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our "mystery " weekend and our tour up the Wanganui River you guys.It was a lot of fun,with plenty of laughs and fantastic scenery. Brent and the people at the flying fox made us feel very welcome and relaxed.

Dear Claire and Brent– just back from our extended holiday after the Tramping at Ohakune – Wanganui.The jet boat trip was quite superb and the highlight of our week. The weather came right, that we just filled the two boats was great, your home cooking was much appreciated and the scenery was just spectacular. Hi Claire,
Want to say thanks to yourself and Brent for a great day out on Saturday. All went really well, we had plenty of muscles available for the places that my chair needed to be lifted.
My wife's parents (Canadian) were blown away by the scenery and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We hope you have a good summer season on the river, will certainly be recommending your tours to family and friends.

Dear Claire and Brent,
We made it home safely - pleasantly tired and dusty but relaxed after a wonderful day with terrific memories of your hospitality, humour and magnificent corned beef sandwiches- not to mention the sultana cake! Wayne will be back- (so will I) and we'll bring the rest of the family with us.
The prospect of a return visit is already in our sights for the New Year- a candlelit bath under the stars at Flying Fox a distinct possibility!
My own special day was better than I could have ever imagined. I was truly overcome and very touched - and it was such fun. We are full of enthusiasm for your plans and ideas to grow your business - will spread the word to all and sundry over this way.
